The Cerro Coso cross country team traveled to Santa Clarita this week to take on Masters University as well as many other NAIA and NCAA schools at the 8k collegiate distance, a distance race never run before in school history. Led by Ryan Morrison, the coyotes absolutely dominated the new distance by all competing athletes running faster for 8k than they did over 6k! Every runner improved their paces by 10-50 seconds per mile from our last race 3 weeks ago! Coach Fahey was ecstatic about their success saying "We've been pushing so hard to go somewhere this program has never been, and I'm just so proud of the team for doing something we've never done before in school history."
