Morrison, out of Burroughs High School finished 78th out of 184 at the 2025 SoCal XC Championships in San Diego, CA, qualifying for the year-end state championship. 
Ryan was 93rd at the mile and smartly worked his way up and unleashed his deadly kick at the end to secure his spot for the states.  

From Coach Fahey "We knew Ryan was capable of it, but we knew he had to have his perfect day. And he aced his day! Even more impressive and little do most know, Ryan did all this off only about 4 months of training. He wasn't planning on competing till I showed up in July. I couldn't be prouder of the young man and can't wait to see what he can do with another year of training under his belt."
