The Cerro Coso Cross Country team began the season at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA at the Waves Invitational. The team made history scoring the first ever team in school record. Ryan Morrison finished first for Cerro Coso placing 48th finishing with a time of 21:35.7 followed by Greg Ostrom in 49th with a time of 21:37.4.

Cerro Coso will race again on September 20th at the Master's Invitational.
